Delete your Joovik account
You can delete your account yourself, in the app, at any time.
In the app
- Open Joovik and go to Profile.
- Tap Delete account. On the simpler layout for parents, it is called Delete my account.
- Confirm. Your account is deleted straight away.
If you cannot sign in
Email [email protected] from the email on your account, or tell us the phone number you signed up with. We may first check that it is really you. We will write back when it is done.
What is deleted
Your profile, your answers, your logs, your conversations and calls, what Joovik remembers about you, and your files. That includes voice recordings, documents, family voice notes and photos. If you look after someone in a family circle, the circle is handed on to another member, if there is one.
What we have to keep
- Doctor consultations and prescriptions, with your name on them. A prescription has to name its patient, and doctors must keep medical records. These are deleted three years after the last clinical entry.
- The files that go with them, such as prescription PDFs and reports you shared with the doctor.
- Consultation bookings, for our financial records, with your name, phone, email and health details removed.
- For a lab order, its payment and order details and the email its report went to. The names of the people tested, the address and the report are removed.
- A record that you asked for deletion, records of consent and sharing changes, and copies of emails we sent.
Services that already received data to do their job keep it under their own rules. Our privacy policy lists them.
